The Czechoslovakian Vlcak (other names below) is a wolf-like dog originating from Czechoslovakia, now known as Czech Republic (Czechia) and Slovakia (Slovak Republic).

The farthest-recorded history of the Czechoslovakian Vlcak is 1955, when breeders tried crossing a German shepherd with a grey wolf. By a decade later, this breed was discovered by the breeders, and in 1982, it was recognized as separate from wolves.
